Inspirational author Corrine Sharpe published a second book in October. The book is a companion devotional to her 2016 memoir, A Royal Love Revealed: My Journey from Sorrow to God’s Heart. A Royal Love Devotional: 100 Moments with the King documents “heart encounters” experienced by her and others. These encounters serve as occasions to know Jesus through a personal relationship. Corrine writes, “In moments of uncertainty, encouragement, and pain, God reveals Himself to bring peace, love, and joy.”
Though targeted to women and girls, the devotional appeals broadly to all. She writes, “These are powerful moments with the King. Within these moments, women and girls of all ages are reminded of their place, inheritance, and value in the Kingdom of God, regardless of their circumstances.”
Each devotional begins with a vibrant photo of the heart encounter, followed by biblical scripture, a brief narrative, and a prayer. Corrine published on her Facebook page, “I pray that the words of this devotional goes to the deep places of your heart for 100 days and beyond and that you gain more awareness of God’s love for you in the smallest things to the biggest. In the good times and in the hard times we ALL need more of God’s love.”
Corrine published her memoir with the help of editor Kimberly Smith Ashley at her former agency KM Smith Writes. She teamed up again with Kimberly to write and publish this second publication.
