Kimberly Ashley is a writer, editor, and coach. Kimberly’s editing career began in 2009 when she formed KM Smith Writes, and her dedication to high-quality writing and editing services continues with The Editor Garden. She holds an MA in English, an MEd in educational leadership, and is working toward an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from the Vermont College of Fine Arts. An active member of the EFA and SCBWI, Kimberly believes in the power of shared visions and collaborative action.
Kimberly accepts writing projects of all types and specializes in multiple genres, including long-form business content, self-help, spiritual, adult and literary fiction, young adult and children’s fiction, and memoir. Her editorial strengths include developmental, structural, and content editing; project management; and book and writing process coaching. Currently, Kimberly is working on manuscripts related to her MFA program, including two YA contemporary novels.
Laurie Dennison is a writer, editor, and website coordinator. She holds a BA in English and an MEd in English education and educational technology from the University of Florida. An active member of the EFA and SCBWI, she was the Jacksonville critique group leader for three years. Laurie enjoys combining her passion for writing and teaching through mentoring programs.
Laurie accepts writing projects of all types, specializing in young adult and children’s fiction, adult and literary fiction, and select business writing projects. Her editorial strengths include developmental and content editing, character development, and line editing. She also has extensive experience establishing, growing, and maintaining websites for individuals and small businesses. Laurie is currently working on contemporary young adult writing projects. She is represented by Danielle Burby at Nelson Literary Agency.
Nancy Stone is a writer, editor, and creativity coach. An active member of SCBWI, EFA, and the Creative Coaching Association, she believes in the transformative power of storytelling, creativity, and connection. Currently at work on a middle grade novel, Nancy’s writing has appeared in The Mississippi Review Online, Folio Weekly, and other publications.
Nancy accepts projects of all types, including fiction and nonfiction for children and adults. Her editorial strengths include copy, line, and developmental editing, as well as creativity coaching. A former research librarian and adjunct professor, Nancy holds a BA in English from the University of Connecticut and an MLS with a concentration in children’s literature from Simmons College. She is represented by Ammi-Joan Paquette of Erin Murphy Literary Agency.
