Cultivating Craft Through Community

Our Inaugural Write On Saturday October 20 2018

Would you like to recharge your creative battery?

Connect and brainstorm with area writers?

Make a monthly commitment to focused, quiet writing time?

Our Write On Saturdays are designed to help you nourish your creative spirit, find your tribe, and get your words down on the page. Offered the third Saturday of every month, Write On sessions begin with a short craft and creativity talk by our Editor Garden team or special guest, followed by 90 minutes of uninterrupted writing time. The last half hour is all about connection, a relaxed social forum where you can talk with fellow writers, ask questions, and share ideas.

Held in our brand new conference space at LionShare Cowork, Write On sessions are core to the Editor Garden mission: to cultivate craft through community. We believe stories connect us, and when writers connect with each other, their stories grow stronger.

At our inaugural Saturday session on October 20, Nancy Stone (www.nancystonewrites.com) will talk about Writing for Joy: How Having Fun Will Make Your Story Shine. She’ll give some insights from her ongoing training as a Creativity Coach and launch the silent writing session with an optional creative writing prompt.
